A Class Act NY Broadway Camp Contest 2017
Terms and Conditions

  1. The promoter is A Class Act NY whose registered office is at 200 60th Suite 28E, New York, NY 10023.
  2. The competition is open to residents of the United States aged 5 – 18 years.
  3. Entrants must have approval and permission from a parent and/or legal guardian in order to enter this contest.
  4. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  5. Hereafter, any mention of “Parent” encompasses a minor Entrant’s parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s).
  6. All correspondence regarding this Contest, including initial entry emails and any notifications regarding finalist or winner status, will be between A Class Act NY and Parents.
  7. By entering this competition, Entrants and Parents agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  8. By entering this competition, Entrants and Parents indicate their agreement to have Entrant’s video entry and name posted to the A Class Act NY social media pages including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, at A Class Act NY’s discretion.
  9. Route to entry for the competition and details of how to enter are via http://www.AClassActNY.com and Facebook.com/AClassActNY.
  10. Only one entry will be accepted per Entrant, but Parents may submit entries for multiple children.
  11. Entries will only be accepted from Parents.
  12. Closing date for entry will be April 21, 2017. After this date no further entries to the competition will be considered.
  13. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  14. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
    1. Entrant must record a video singing a musical theatre song solo. No other people should appear in the video.
    2. Entrants or Parents must post a portion of that video to Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter, using the hashtag #ACANY and @AClassActNY. Entries may be posted on the Parent’s profile or to the Entrant’s profile.
    3. To be eligible, Entrants and/or Parents must be following @AClassActNY on Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter.
    4. Parents must email the entire song performance to contest@aclassactny.com. No email submissions from minor Entrants will be accepted.
    5. Finalists will be chosen by A Class Act NY by April 24, 2017.
    6. A Class Act NY will post up to five (5) finalists’ videos to facebook.com/aclassactny. Finalists and Parents will be encouraged to share their videos.
    7. Whoever gets the most “likes” on their video by June 1, 2017 will be the winner.
  15. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  16. The prize is as follows: one spot in either the June 26-30, 2017 or August 14-18, 2017 session of Broadway Boot Camp OR one spot in Little Guys Camp June 26-30, 2017 for the Entrant OR a refund of the cost of registration for the camp IF the Parent has already paid to register for Entrant’s spot.
    1. The prize does not include transportation to/from Workshop venue, nor housing or other accommodations, nor reimbursement thereof.
    2. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  17. Winners will be chosen by employees of A Class Act NY.
  18. A Class Act NY’s decision in respect to all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  19. The winner’s Parent will be notified by email on June 1, 2017. If the winner’s Parent cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 24 hours of notification, A Class Act NY reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  20. A Class Act NY will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected / is delivered.
  21. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by New York law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York.
  22. The winner’s Parent agrees to the use of minor Entrant’s name and image, as well as their entry, in any publicity material. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current New York data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, or any other Social Network. Entrants are providing information to A Class Act NY and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at http://www.aclassactny.com/privacy-policy/.
  24. A Class Act NY shall have the right, at its sole discretion and at any time, to change or modify these terms and conditions. Such change shall be effective immediately upon posting to this webpage. Any material changes to the competition will be notified to Entrants and Parents as soon as possible by A Class Act NY.
  25. A Class Act NY also reserves the right to cancel the competition if circumstances arise outside of its control.
